Lily Gu holds a Master’s degree in Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, building a solid academic foundation that integrates expertise in both finance and law. She focuses her practice on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity, while also providing tax dispute resolution and compliance advisory services for a wide range of commercial transactions. Lily has also served as a guest lecturer at the International Business School of Zhejiang University. She works fluently in both Chinese and English, enabling her to support cross-border matters effectively.

Since joining ForTran Law Firm, Lily has been engaged in projects involving cross-border tax controversies, corporate restructuring, investment and financing transactions, and tax planning. She has also participated in matters related to criminal law, contributing her multidisciplinary insights to help clients navigate complex legal and regulatory challenges.
