Rene Zhong is a senior litigator with over three decades of experience and has been recognized with numerous honors, including Provincial Outstanding Lawyer, Outstanding Individual in the Legal Profession, Top Ten Young Lawyer, and Excellent Debater.
Since beginning her legal career in 1993, Rene has focused on the prevention and resolution of civil, administrative, and criminal legal risks arising in the course of corporate operations. She has extensive litigation experience and deep academic grounding in both corporate and criminal law. Her practice spans business disputes, corporate crime, and criminal law protection in the commercial context.
With a strong reputation for legal expertise, Rene has been appointed as long-term legal counsel to a range of public institutions and entities, including municipal governments, public security departments, state-owned enterprises, private businesses, and military units. She has led several landmark cases, including Jiangxi Province’s first financial fraud case involving a commercial bank, a trade secret infringement case involving corporate espionage, a cross-border trademark dispute with Rolex Switzerland, and Shanghai’s first case involving material misrepresentation in an accountant’s certification report.
