Susan Yang is a seasoned attorney with a strong background in tax and accounting. She advises clients on a wide range of legal matters arising in the course of fundraising, investment, capital operations, profit distribution, and other transactions. Known for her ability to apply tax expertise as a strategic advantage, she helps clients navigate disputes efficiently and effectively.

Susan has represented clients in multiple high-stakes tax controversy cases involving cumulative disputed amounts in the hundreds of millions of RMB. She frequently provides legal opinions on the legality and commercial soundness of corporate structures, tax positions, and financial arrangements for both domestic and foreign-invested companies. Her transactional experience includes leading roles in numerous mergers, acquisitions, and liquidation projects. Her services encompass legal due diligence, contract drafting and review, negotiation support, and coordination of approvals, registrations, and filings in areas such as business licensing, tax, foreign exchange, and corporate restructuring.

Susan also has extensive litigation experience, developed through her long-term advisory roles with corporate clients.
